Our first visit to the area we could not believe our luck at finding the Papillon. Lea Valley Shooting Association is Hertfordshire's Premier Clay Shooting Ground. Established in 1970, it occupies a purpose-built site just outside Hertford town with 10 different shooting arenas. There are several covered shooting points for the comfort of guests in poor weather. Ample car parking and a clubhouse with toilets and refreshments. Fully insured and affiliated to the CPSA, the Shooting School is open Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 4 for lessons for individuals and groups. Learn to shoot in safe and experienced hands, suitable for men and women of all ages to learn an Olympic sport. 

Clay pigeon shooting is an ideal group activity for companies and organisations, stag parties, birthday and anniversaries. The LVSA offer 'Have a Go' Clay shooting days, up to all-day clay shooting experiences with full catering. Also individual lessons are available Tuesday - Saturday. Gift vouchers are available. The Club meets on first and third Sundays of each month and on Thursday evenings in the summer.

LVSA caters for private and corporate clients from around Hertfordshire and Greater London. Corporate clients include Herts Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster Mercedes, Specialist Cars BMW, Centrica, Herts Planning Services, Tesco and many others. LVSA host activity days for schools, business clubs and lodges.  Game shooters use the Shooting School to brush up their skills at the start of each season.
